Interface Design – Week 7 – Interface Development

This week was devoted to developing a home page from the wireframe we created in the last session.

My theme was to create a web page for a holiday company (I opted for skiing holidays!) I used the following three design references to help me put together my own:

THE DESIGN PROCESS

Using Photoshop, I created a new document (1366 x 768 @ 72ppi). then used a grid system to help me plan and organise my information on the page with the help of last weeks wireframe.

I knew wanted a blue and white theme. My initial idea was to style the name of the company to look like a ski-slope, but it seemed untidy, so I jettisoned it!
